Tachibana Akari dated Naruse Yamato in high school, but they broke up. She is now a university student, but she still hasn't gotten over their breakup.
One day, she meets Naruse Izumi, who attends the same university. He is younger than her. Izumi is sincere and warm-hearted like Akari, but unlike her, he is also honest with other people. He doesn’t tell lies to make other people feel good. They become attracted to each other and soon develop a romantic relationship. Akari then learns that Izumi is the younger brother of her ex-boyfriend Yamato.
